An Eclectic Circle Ceremony

An Eclectic Circle Ceremony

Durwydd, 1989-90

Preliminaries

WATER:

Blessings upon thee, O creature of water, I cast out from thee all impurities and uncleanness of the spirits of phantasm, confusion or any other influence not for the free will of all.

SALT:

Blessings be upon this creature of salt; let all malignity and hindrance be cast forth thence from, and let all good enter therein. Wherefore I bless thee and invoke thee, that thou mayest aid me.

MIXING:

I take this salt of the Earth,
Blessed with the will of Fire;
I take this water of spirit,
Exorcised with mind of merit;
I mix them with words of power,
Dedicated to every Tower.

By the power of Moon and Sun,
By the power of Spirit, Earth and Sea,
God and Goddess are part of One,
As I Will, so mote it be!

Casting of the Circle

I conjure thee, O circle of power,
As thou encircle every Tower.
That thou beest a place of Truth, Joy and Love,
Encircling Flight of Eagle, Hawk and Dove.

Mighty Aegis of the Lady and Lord,
Rampart of thought, action and word.
To work in Peace, Powerful and Free,
Who walk between two worlds conjure thee;

A boundary to Protect, Concentrate and Contain,
That Power raised here be not in vain.

Wherefore do I bless thee and consecrate thee, in the names of Cernunnos and Aradia.

Setting the Watchtowers

Ye Lords of the Eastern Tower,
Airy Lords of Spirit;
Let your influence of Power,
Aid our minds with merit!

Ye Lords of Southern Power
Fiery Lords of Will.
Pray do grace your Tower,
Your Powers to fulfil!

Ye Lords of the Watchtowers of the West,
Watery Lords of Death and Initiation;

Ye Northern Lords of the Earth,
Though we be yet but Mortals;
Bless our work with worth,
Boreas, guardian of Northern portals.
I do summon, stir and call you up to witness these rites and to guard the Circle.

Goddess and God, I would know,
As ’tis above, so ’tis below
Blessings on this work, please bestow!

This be my will, true and free,
I do so will, so mote it be.

Invocation of the Elements

Air, Fire, Water, Earth,
Elements of astral birth,
I call you now; attend to me!
In the Circle, rightly cast,
Safe from curse or blast,
I call you now, attend to me!

From cave and desert, sea and hill,
By wand, blade and pentacle,
I call you now, attend to me!
This is my will, so mote it be!

A Word On (Spiritual) Home Protection

Good morning, friends and fans! In this article I’ll give you my personal insights, based on my own experiences, on the subject of protecting your home against nasty paranormal entities!

The thing with houses and homes is that people who live in them need to protect themselves and their loved ones from outside forces. I’m not talking about burglars or home invaders in the conventional sense here, but in this case, I’m referring to the supernatural. Aside from the likely ghostly visits of friends, family and previous residents, there are a few other possible threats that need to be guarded against – such as nasty entities summoned by others and sent against another individual, or spiritual attachments that can follow a person.

Guarana

Paullinia cupana syn. P.sorbilis
The herbal plant known as the guarana is a native South American species of climbing shrub, growing wild in the expansive Amazon Basin. The guarana is cultivated for its seeds in this region of the world. The roasted and pulverized guarana seeds are made into a paste – also called gum – by mixing it with a little water. The paste is molded into bars and dried for consumption as an herbal treat. The guarana plant contains a fair amount of the alkaloid caffeine and traces of other related alkaloids including the compounds theophylline and theobromine similar to other plants used as stimulants.

* Black Salt *

“Black Salt is used in banishing and binding rituals. Great for bothersome neighbors. Magically used to remove negative energies from items. Often used to remove hexes and other harmful or negative energies. Cleanse your magical implements in a bath of black salt and water… and then wash in a bath of sea salt to purify the item and allow in only positive energies.

Magickal Significance of Alcohol

by eliza@sacredspiral.com

Alcohol is a joining of two opposite elements, fire and water. Fire respresenting masculinity and dominance and water representing femininity and passivity. Together they create a ‘burning water’. Knowing this, alcohol can be used in rituals with the intent to join two opposite thoughts /instances / situations. It can also be used to consecrate your ritual tools to both fire and water and hence a balance between the opposites.

BAY LAUREL:

(Laurus nobilis) The culinary leaves may be slightly narcotic, and aid digestion when added to Bouquet garni, marinades, pâte, soups and stews. The wood is used to give an aromatic tang to smoked foods, and oil of Bay, from the fruit, flavors some liqueurs. A leaf decoction added to bath water will relieve aching limbs, and diluted leaf essential oil can treat sprains and rheumatic joints but may irritate the skin. The leaf and berry are used in salves for itching, sprains, bruises, skin irritations, and rheumatic pain. The fruit and leaf are simmered until soft and made into a poultice with honey for chest colds. Bay leaf and berry tea makes a bath additive that helps the bladder, bowel, and female reproductive organs. Use two tablespoons per cup and steep for forty-five minutes, add to bath water.

Magick in Ancient Egypt by Eris

“O Isis great enchantress, free me, release me from all evil red things, from the fever of the god and the fever of the goddess. From death, and deathfrom pain, and the pain that comes over me; as though hast freed, as thou hast released thy son Horus, whilst I enter into the fire and go forth from the water.”
