Fachen

The Fachen is a monster from Irish legend. It is known to pursue and mutilate travelers, eventually killing them. It is covered by with feathers, having a tuft of them which grew like a comb on a cock’s head. It has one mangled hand that grows from the center of its chest, and one leg that grows out of its body at an angle. It also has one eye set in the middle of its forehead. To look more menacing, it would ruffle up its feathers before attacking its victims.

Dragon Spell Box

Buy or make a box out of any material you like, decorate it with dragon images and dragon runes. Soon I will have dragon runes on the site. Anyway a recent photo of yourself, 1 quartz crystal, 1 pyramid any size if you can’t buy one make a paper one and three small squares of paper. Write out your three wishes, place in the box. Place crystal on top of wishes, then place the top on. Align the box to face true north in a place it won’t be disturbed. Place photo on top, put pyramid on top and align to the directions. Hold palms of your hands around your box and say three times with great feeling:

Cluricaunes

Cluricaunes are a type of otherworldly creature similar to the Leprechaun, they have usually been seen sitting by the hearth of a fire and are always described as wearing a red jacket and a green high cap with a feather sticking in it. They are small in stature and usually appear as wizened old men. They can do mischief, grant wishes and poke fun at humankind. Often confused with the other solitary fairies known as Lepracauns or the Fear Dearg they prefer to be indoors and do not like to do any physical labour. They like any kind of alcoholic beverage and can be found in the cellar’s of rich men, helping themselves to whatever they fancy of wine and whiskey.

Tense and Release by Dawn Firewolf

If you’ve never tried a relaxation exercise before, you may not know what relaxation truly feels like. That’s the point of this exercise – to show you in no uncertain terms the difference between ‘tense’ and ‘relaxed’. It’s also fun to do, in my opinion.

About Dragon Energies

Labyrinths, mazes, winding tunnels and the like, are all symbols of dragon energies. Many of you, who are already adept magick users, are already familiar with the idea of ley lines. However, if you are not, this is for you.

Ley lines are lines of the earth’s gravitational and magnetic energies which travel throughout the world, beneath the ground, and are both visibly and psychically “seen.”

Salt Dough

One of the simplest, and one of my favourite crafts, is salt dough. It is really fun. You can mold it into any shape you like, such as goddesses, gods, pentacles, etc. All is you have to do is follow the recipe below, form it into your shapes, set them on a oven tray, and bake them until hard. This depends on what sort of oven you are using. In fact, you can even bake them in the microwave. After baking them, just paint them, and let dry. Voila, you have cute little figures perfect for jewellery, ornaments, decorations, or anything else you can think of.

How to make incense

Burning incense makes great sense. It’s a natural, non-toxic air freshener that serves as a terrific alternative to today’s aerosols, plug-ins and the like. It also has a great track record; people have been using it for thousands of years and for all sorts of reasons.
Incense is basically a mixture of herbs, woods and resins that can be powdered and then burned slowly for a fragrant effect.  Ancient cultures burned it for ceremonies and worship. The Chinese and Japanese once burned it as a measurement of time, and today it’s used in religious rituals world-wide. But mostly it just smells great.  I will show you how to collect and prepare the ingredients needed for making incense, including a couple of recipes to get you started. After that, it’s up to you to experiment and create your own custom-made fragrances.

A Mabon rite outline

(soon to be a major Mabon Ritual, at a terminal near you.)

General Mabon info to start with, set the mood &c…

What is Mabon?

Mabon, sometimes known as the Harvest/Thanksgiving ritual of the Autumn Equinox, is one of the Spokes of the Wheel of the Year. In the many Earth or Pagan Religions, a special kinship with the passing of the seasons is felt… this is usually due to the history of said traditions, most of which stem from agrarian cultures where the seasons marked the way of life. From planting to reaping to winter to summer… the seasons were of great importance to our ancestors, for their very existence depended upon good harvests, mild winters, enough rainfall, and the like.
