You are what you eat. We’ve all heard that a million times before, haven’t we? It’s a call to be conscious about our food choices. Our health is dependent upon the fuel our body has to create our lives. Eat healthy, vitamin rich foods, and you have a healthy life. Eat poor foods, low on nutrition and high in empty calories, and you have a poor life, with low energy and core vitality. It’s a truth recognized by both the medical fields and alternative health specialists, though they might not completely agree as to what a healthy diet really is.

“So much to do, I still have so much to do!” In this song the Dutch band Toontje Lager describes in a comical way how we try to fit into modern day society by exercising a thousand activities in a very limited scheme. At the same time we wish to work, raise children, be cultural engaged, follow the news and interesting programs, shape our body in a gym, cook healthy, clean the house, work in the garden, attend meetings, follow workshops, visit family members and friends, and hopefully meditate five full minutes a day. Birthing Ritual Chant

Greetings and Aloha,

As a mother witch I have come up with a chant that is quite appropriate for any birthing ritual. Use and enjoy:

Tiny bud, swelling nub, resting in the womb
Unleashing spark, in the dark, birthing to be soon
Healthy child, labor mild, mother safe and strong
Nature flow, now to grown a household before long
